Price Alert
International prices continue to move forward very quickly and although we expected prices to start levelling out by the summer this now seems unlikely.
Supply
Mills are busy, some however are seeing raw material shortages limit production. Price rises will be further fuelled by these shortages.
Demand
March including Easter was a quiet month. The market generally is still slow, but the demand for steel related products is holding up well, especially with all the doom and gloom for other industrial sectors.
Tomrods Limited
Personally a very busy month trying to stay ahead of scrap prices and other increases. Overall a disappointing month as GP% profit levels remain static.
