Prices

Merchant bar and hollow section prices weakened during July along with heavy section prices. We are now seeing international scrap prices recover so this could lead to a recovery in price levels over the next couple of months.

Supply

Mills are looking for new business, although summer recesses are keeping supply under control.

Demand
An average July, still no long term signs of improvements and the summer months will remain quiet.

Credit

No change.

Tomrods
