Supply

Merchant bars and hollow sections mill lead times are about 6/8 weeks whereas heavy section lead times can be up to 12/16 weeks.

Demand
Steady away although we are experiencing some quiet spells and then selling prices are coming under pressure.

Tomrods Limited

What a busy month. Firstly Gail and Steve produced Frankie Junior, a healthy bouncing boy and this has been followed by Sarah and Johnny with Jasmine, a lovely little girl. Both new mums are doing well and we wish them every happiness with their new famalies.

Tomrods Golf Day saw our bank manager Martin Connelly, a man who doesn't take any risks of losing by playing a 24 handicap, take first prize with 42 stableford points. The coveted Tomrods shield was won by yours truly with a 40pt tally. A good day was had by all.

Also on the golf front Lynn Peacock was awarded the "most improved lady golfer" trophy by her local club Harrogate GC - well don Lynn.

We have also welcomed Mel back after her operation, we are all delighted to see her back.

On a business front the new shot blasting and painting line is on time and will be operational before Christmas. We have also introduced a new range of bright carbon rounds from 3mm to 50mm in metric and imperial dimensions. We look forward to receiving your enquiries.
