Prices
As you can see prices have weakened during Q4, this reflects past years where prices usually are under pressure as we approach the Christmas break and company year ends. From a negative point of view the Euro zone crisis and the unrest in Egypt and the middle east and the lack of growth in the UK economy points to further price uncertainty. However we are not signing up for this view as we believe that the strength of the dollar, the lack of stock in the supply chain and the fact that steel mills are not making any money will point to, at worst, a static price over the next few months. Words and sentiment you might think, but we have placed orders for Q1 2012 delivery to substantiate our positive belief.
Supply
Mills, especially in northern Europe, have reduced output by mothballing capacity or through taking extended Christmas breaks. This will mean that some sizes might become scarce.
New Stock
We can now offer STAINLESS STEEL TUBES in bundle quantities.
STEEL BALLS 25mm to 70mm available ex stock.
Special Offers
We have now connected out shotblasting and preservation line on to the mains supply, we therefore have a generator for sale.
Details are as follows;
Motor: Deutz BF6M 1015 CP. Generator: Meco Alt Spa. Type: Eco 37-3L/4. Manufactured: 2000. Hours 9326. This cost us £16,000 in 2006 and we are looking for the best offer.
We also have one 19.2m span overhead crane for sale, 3t lifting capacity. This has served us well at Manse Lane in the past and is in excellent working order. If interested please contact the undersigned, we will consider any offers.

It is our aspiration not just to be good at what we do, we want to be the best and our move to Thirsk has enabled us to do this. Andy would appreciate any comments you may have and he can be contacted at andyw@tomrods.co.uk
