Prices
Over the last few months there has been a lot of speculation about prices, the lack of demand will reduce levels say one school, where another says that the increase in input costs and a lack of stock on the floor will increase prices. Prices, in general, have remained remarkably flat, the exception being heavy sections where a £50/t increase in September has restored prices to pre summer levels. It's a bit like being in a twilight zone, where there is a lot of talk but no action. We believe that anything could happen but probably will not.
Supply
Supply is generally in balance, all mills are working on reduced capacity to bolster price levels.
