New Director Appointed
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Laurence McDougall to the board of Tomrods Limited. Laurence has completed over twenty years in the steel trade and brings an enormous amount of experience of both home and export markets. The appointment secures the future of Tomrods Limited as an independent family run company and also will open up many new opportunities.

Laurence will be joining the company on the completion of his present contract with Caparo.

Prices
Mill prices on most products are stable with some upward pressure from increased fuel and other overhead costs. Corus have recently announced a £20/t increase on heavy sections (beams/columns) from 26th February, which reflects this pressure. Stockholder out sale prices are very competitive as demand is not brisk. Overall a more static market, which is a pleasant change from the last few roller coaster years.

Tomrods Limited
Our new web site has been well received and we would like to assure you no pictures have been touched up. The Christmas party was held in January as usual and was a splendour of Chinese cooking and everyone went home replete. We look forward to 2006 with once again renewed vigour and our commitment to give our customers the very best service we can.
