Tomrods is delighted to be supplying a major UK bridge building company with a range of quality assured steel products, which are necessary in helping to develop the infrastructure in numerous rural areas of Sri Lanka. The company’s on-going bridge building projects in Sri Lanka are helping to increase mobility as well as allowing rural populations easier access to markets and education and by this means alleviating poverty there too.
You can see some of our angles, specifically sourced solid bars and hollow sections in the parapets of the particular bridge build in the picture above – they have travelled a long way from Thirsk but they certainly look quite at home there!
