Our Woolly Wonderful Christmas Jumper Day!

Our Woolly Wonderful Christmas Jumper Day!

Tomrods colleagues were only too keen to get into the festive spirit and wear their Christmas jumpers with pride in support of the annual Save the Children fundraising Christmas Jumper Day.

It’s a sad fact that some 6.6 million children across the world die before their fifth birthday every year, most from easily preventable illnesses like malaria, malnutrition and pneumonia.  And in the UK alone, 3.5 million children are living in poverty as their families can’t afford nutritious food, heating, household essentials or good quality childcare.

So it’s great to know that the £150 raised by colleagues at Tomrods in support of Christmas Jumper Day 2014 will be matched as promised by the Government and it will all go towards helping to support children in need in the world.
