Tomrods’ 2014 Golf Day

Flaxby Golf Course proved to be a great venue for Tomrods’ 2014 Annual Golf Day – designed by leading golf architect David Hemstock the course contains more than 18,000 newly-planted trees and several lakes. The par 72 18-hole course is nearly 7,000 yards from the championship tees but offers tee positions for ladies and gentlemen.

The course certainly offered a wealth of natural hazards for Tomrods’ colleagues & guest players of all abilities but it was the 19th hole, which in general proved to be the most gratefully received – the hot roast pork sandwiches & homemade chips etc. on offer there went down a real treat! The weather was on excellent form too for this infamous Tomrods annual October golfing fixture & it’s fair to say that once again a great time was had by all sporting participants!

The results:
