Hot finished square hollow sections are available in 20mm – 450mm widths as standard.
Hot finished square hollow section steel is sometimes called SHS and box section. They are used in a number of applications including fencing, modular buildings, construction and manufacturing. Square hollow steel sections are available in their natural state or can be shot-blasted, primed, saw cut, drilled or milled. Tomrods offer these services in-house.
We stock an extensive range of square hollow steel sections in mild steel. Sizes from 20mm x 20mm with a thickness of 2mm to 450mm x 450mm with a thickness of 12.5mm is supplied as standard in steel grade S355J2H. Standard lengths of 7.5 metres 10 metres and 12 metres are available.
