40th Anniversary Golf Day Goes With A Swing!
October 14, 2013
The championship par 72 Hawtree Course was the setting of choice for Tomrods’ 40th Anniversary Charity Golf Invitation Day.
This course not only runs through beautiful 18th century parkland but has the added bonus of all-weather tracks ensuring that buggies are available all year round! However, despite some pretty wet and windy weather conditions in the week leading up to Tomrods' anniversary fixture we are delighted to report that dry conditions prevailed allowing a glorious day of golf to be enjoyed by all our participants. We are particularly pleased to also highlight that £650 was raised for Yorkshire Air Ambulance as a consequence of Tomrods' charitable commitment to donate £5 for each par & birdie scored per hole.
