Hollow Section price increase notification

We have recently been advised by Tata tubes of an immediate price increase of “at least” £150 per tonne as outlined in the attached correspondence. Having investigated the situation with other suppliers of the product and based upon the increase in the cost of the coil and the import prices and availability of hollow sections, coupled with high EU demand levels, this notification appears to be a very real increase and we would recommend our customers take this into consideration for quoting new projects and planning buying requirements over the months ahead.
