Tomrods Extends its Outside Gantry Storage Capacity

We have recently extended our outside storage capacity by an additional 25,000 sq ft and installed two new 5 tonne capacity cranes. This considerable investment will enable us to stock an increased range of steel sizes and lengths as well as improve handling speeds relating to incoming and outgoing loads.
The new gantry has been especially designed so that we can add a covered warehouse in the future. This investment has been undertaken as part of a £750,000 programme, which includes the installation of a Vernet Behringer HD-X 618 cut and drill line, the upgrade of all cranes and ensures that Tomrods remains totally committed to making sure we deliver to all our customers the best quality on time.
